As we have evolved and updated our menus we always went to you, our customers first for advice, and repeatedly got requests for more Mexican style food. So gradually we have grown into
or "found" our preferred identity, so why Sombreros?… well as they say ... if the hat fits!
We are now very much a Tex-Mex style diner serving generous portions of freshly prepared South West, Mexican and Texan food from Tasty Taquitos, Madre’s chilli, Southwest chicken, Burritos and Manx Butcher made burgers, of course we must mention our delicious home cooked pulled pork. We support local producers wherever we can, Alan and Rachel (Ballakelly Farm, Andreas) supply all our pork for our in house slow cooked pork dishes. Dave’s Delicious Dogs are No 1 choice for hot dogs made with 100% Manx meat and IOM Creameries supply our cheese and dairy products.
We regularly update our menu and already have a few new Mexican dishes in mind. The first of which is our new Max Burger, Maximum flavour with Zero Fat! Fresh chicken fillet with a southwest seasoning roasted in the oven then served on a bun with Pico de gallo salsa, salad, a mint yogurt dressing and a good hit of fresh lime... a real taste bud tickler!
Every month we have our themed nights where we try out the local dishes from around the world, we cater for Corporate functions, Birthdays, Weddings, Christenings, Team building or fund raising events and are happy to produce whatever style of food you desire. So if you fancy something a bit different, a lot different or just a good old fashioned carvery give us a shout and we will do the rest.
